Shipping and returns

How long will it take to process and dispatch my order?

Orders are usually processed and dispatched within one business day, however during busy periods orders may take up to 48 hours to be processed and dispatched.

Once your order is dispatched, the delivery time will depend on your location and chosen shipping method (see next question).

 

 

How will I be charged for postage and how long will it be before I receive my order?

Adelaide Tuition Centre uses the services of Australia Post eParcel to distribute to post office box addresses, as well as commercial/residential addresses within Australia and StarTrack Express to ship to all commercial/residential addresses within Australia. Postage cost is automatically determined by the weight of publications and their destination address.

Delivery timeframes:

  • Australia Post eParcel:
    Items sent via Australia Post eParcel are generally received 1–2 days after dispatch to metro areas and 3–4 days after dispatch to regional areas. Please note: we have been advised Australia Post no longer has an express service operating to some areas in the Northern Territory. To avoid delays, supply a street address when ordering and we will courier the item to you via StarTrack.
  • StarTrack Express:
    Items sent via StarTrack Express are generally received 1–2 business days after dispatch. Star Track cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

Please note: we only post items within Australia.

 

 

If I have ordered the wrong book, can it be returned?

If you purchased from our online store (Essentials Education)

If you’ve placed an incorrect order or need to return a publication purchased directly from our online store, we can arrange a refund or exchange provided the item(s) are in re-saleable condition.

Please contact us first so we can open a returns ticket for your order.

When returning your item(s), please include the original packing slip, or a note with your name and email address, clearly marked “Return”.

You can return the item(s) either by post or by dropping them off at our office:

Once the return has been received, we’ll process the return and issue the refund (or exchange).

 

If you purchased through a bookseller

If you purchased your books through a bookseller (such as Campion or Lighthouse), you’ll need to contact that bookseller directly to organise your return, refund, or exchange, as they manage the sale and order records.
