Due to the lack of information currently available about the new exam, our authors have made the tough decision to not produce a resource for 2019. We understand this will be disappointing for students taking the exam this year, especially as you already have the difficult task of being the first group to sit the UCAT. Unfortunately, we cannot in good faith create and sell a course book when we have no guarantees that what we believe may be in the test will actually appear.
The MedEssentials team is considering their options for masterclasses and short courses – we encourage you to visit their website for any updates: www.medessentials.com.au
You are welcome to subscribe to our newsletter or email [email protected] to register your interest in any UCAT updates.
In 2019, the UMAT will be replaced by the UCAT – the University Clinical Aptitude Test.
The new exam will be two hours long, consisting of five multiple choice sections:
- verbal reasoning
- decision making
- quantitative reasoning
- abstract reasoning
- situational judgement.
The exam will be online, instead of on paper.
MedEssentials and Essentials Education are working to develop study materials for the new exam. Subscribe to our e-newsletter or email [email protected] to join the waiting list and be the first to find out about the books.
